Recovery Focussed Psychotherapy
Specialist psychotherapy for people living with Long Covid, ME/CFS, trauma, fatigue, and burnout. Online, so you can join from the comfort of your own space, wherever you are.
What if recovery begins when our symptoms start to make sense?
What if the symptoms you've been fighting actually make sense? Not as something that's broken, but as your nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do to keep you safe. Spoiler alert: none of this is your fault!

What if we got curious?
Recovery can feel like you're battling your own body
Our minds and bodies adapt to what we've lived through, and understanding that adaptation, rather than fighting it, is where recovery can begin. This isn't about fixing you (because you're not broken!). It's about rebuilding safety, trust and connection with yourself.

Recovery Focussed Psychotherapy
What if how you're feeling makes sense?
Rather than battling anxiety or pushing through exhaustion, Recovery Focussed Psychotherapy encourages curiosity about your experiences and how your mind, body and nervous system respond.
Many coping patterns, like pushing through, chasing perfection, or putting everyone else first, develop for a reason. Instead of overriding these patterns, therapy helps you understand them and explore whether they still serve you. The goal is a more compassionate relationship with yourself, based on your individual experience rather than a one size fits all explanation.

Collaborative Therapy
Psychotherapy that doesn't separate mind from body
My approach draws on 10 years of clinical including five years within psychiatric services, alongside specialist work with trauma and complex chronic illness.
What if we didn't separate physical symptoms from psychological ones?
With Long Covid, ME/CFS and dysautonomia in particular, I hold both realities at once: your illness is real, and living with it shapes your nervous system, emotional wellbeing and sense of safety. Therapy with me is collaborative, and you will always be the wisest person in the room about you.
