Helping the Body to Heal
Recovery from chronic illness is rarely linear, and often extends far beyond symptom management.
In this article, I explore how the nervous system shapes our experience of health, why a true understanding of the mind–body connection is central to recovery and how therapy can support awareness of how your thoughts, emotions and physiology are constantly influencing one another. By integrating this understanding, we move from “fixing” symptoms to listening to the body’s signals, supporting a more sustainable and compassionate path to healing.
